Printing Photos at Home – Epson EcoTank Review

https://www.adaminsights.com/ Printing photos at home on an inkjet was always expensive, a lot of the time you found something didn’t print right, then you’d need to clean the heads and it was messy, wasted ink and paper. Has Epson finally provided a solution?

Thanks for the video! Just bought my 2650 :). What kind of photo paper do you use? I can get a great deal on HP everyday glossy photopaper 100 sheets for 13,50 euro… only 14cent a sheet! Is this paper sufficent? Thanks in advance! Greetings F.

Have you tried the 4750 or 7000 series? I just wonder if I want to use these pictures to hang on the wall, if I should go for the bigger models which I can read have twice the number of nozzles which I presume helps print quality?

Hi, great review! Because of your review I bought the ET 2650. I must be missing something as I am only having frustrations with the printer. Do you have that it shuts it’s self off when not used. Great to save energy. Only very unhandy if you want to print something from another room. I was looking to see if I could change the time or settings for this but need help as I cannot find it. And you said when you instal the printer you get color spaces. I haven’t found this either. Wat is color spaces and how did you get it? Also would like to douplex print with it but maybe my computer is too old or something as I have no (manaul) settings for douplex printing for this printer. Can you help me.

Hi, thanks for good and informative video about this printer and how you have work with it. I’m looking ICC profiles to this printer and for some photo papers. Have you find any somewhere? I’m still very happy with it and I’m getting very good results. I also calibrate screen and use Lightroom soft proofing and try to make small adjustments to get most of prints. Maybe it is best to stick with Epson premium glossy paper if there is no ICC profiles available?

I’ve noticed , you have this printer for a very short time. Have you read customer opinions on Amazon.com or Amazon.ca ? – Many customers (1Star or 2 Stars rate ) complains after 6 month , 1 – year period , that this printer stopped working , outprint is awful – contours (outlines) are sloshed / smudged due to the printing head failure.
