Review: Canon P-150 Document Scanner

Review of the sweet new little scanner i just picked up to help with being paperless for school. does double sided scanning, fast. Also does really well with old photos. I wish the feeder held more documents at a time, but it still works really well in every other way.

Looks really nice. I was just wondering if it printed on both sides just before you said it. What was that extra step you did on the computer near the end? Thanks for the video.

Kenny Eliason says:

Yup, works great. Been using it for years and still does great.

Wow thats what I was searching for the other reviewers never scanned more than one page and I was allways wondering if it is possible ty.

pavzutube says:

i would not feed some original documents into this and gets stuck!? the conventional scanners are more useful than this.

buddyroach says:

how does this compare to the Canon FORMULA P-208 Scan-tini 6907B007 ?

Kenny Eliason says:

Yup, it’ll scan only one side if you want. Do that all the time. 🙂

Thong Chheangmeng says:

How about it scan something that different from a paper ?? Like passport and ID Card ???

Kenny Eliason says:

Heh, naaa… that’s me and the mrs.!

LloydChristmas777 says:

No problem on late response. Less Youtube = more real life. 🙂

Thanks for the info. I think I’ll be grabbing one of these soon.

do you usse a tv as a monitor? which model is that?

miramgelis rondon says:

hola en donde puedo conseguir ese escaner..?

Keith Robinson says:

You need to feed the sheets of paper in with the front page against the rear guide (because that gets scanned first), and head down (because that becomes the top of the image). Otherwise you have a chore rotating and renumbering page images later. It doesn’t help that the advertising pictures show the sheets being fed in the wrong way round. If you set it to single-sided, it will only scan the side facing the feeder, not the user.

Does this come with a CD-ROM software? i need a scanner for my mini laptop but it doesnt take a CD-ROM. only USB

AdamLamperouge says:

The photo, of you and your wife? In the background is the cutest <3

Kenny Eliason says:

Sorry for the super late response… I “OCR”d the text. Meaning Optical Character Recognition. It just reads the page and tries to figure out each individual character. It’s a feature of Adobe Professional.

Tam Kelvin says:

can it scan f4 paper?

buddyroach says:

can you make it to where it only scans the front side of the pages too? cuz i have a bunch of drawings that are one sided only and i dont need extra images of just blank pages.
