I’ve heard from backer of Indiegogo first version that the software ask you to disable your antivirus and that some files are sent to a chinese server… Do you think this scanner would work for bigger books with picture like artbook or tabletop rpg books ? Or a V shaped book scanner would provide a better result ?

Just wondering, can you do a scan of a high gloss A4 or A3 paper? My ET16 (without Plus) has only the top light, and the scans are unsuitable because of the glare. I wonder if those side lights work better (in theory they should, but I worry about the fall out with distance)
