Best Wi-Fi Printer for Home or Small Business

Replaced my laser printer and my wife’s inkjet with this one wi-fi printer and it has worked out great. Check it out here- http://tinyurl.com/Amazon-HP-Printer And the XL ink cartridge that prints 2300 pages is available here- http://tinyurl.com/Amazon-HP-Ink The only printer I have found that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for ink.

Works much better than the 8040 you reviewed. I will keep my 8600Pro.

This is the biggest piece of crap ever. Do Not Buy HP! support sucks and after 7 months they won’t honor the 1 year warranty!

Verna Selander says:

This is the 6812 model right??

Madronaxyz says:

I wish your title said what model this printer is. it’s a waste of time for me to watch the video if it is not my model.

Love this printer but I make greeting cards and it does not recognise the custom print size which is becoming very frustrating – any advice – many thanks

My Canon MG 3120 printer makes noise like hammers That’s why I am looking for a printer without noise. Please let me know if this printer makes any noise?

THIS IS A PIECE OF CRAP!! I BOUGHT ONE AND HAVE TO BE REPLACED 5 TIMES. NOW ITS THE 6 TIMES..AND HP TOLD ME THAT I ONLY HAVE 23 DAYS UNTIL MY WARRANTY ENDS. THIS PRINTER ONLY LASTS 7 TO 10 MONTHS. WHENEVER THE INKS ARE EMPTY AND YOU REPLACE IT..(WITH OEM HP INKS CARTRIDGES)  .THE PRINTER WILL GET STUCKED ON” PRINTER FAILURE MODE” AND IT WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE. I AM ON MY 6 REPLACEMENT RIGHT THIS MINUTES….HP STILL HAVE TO CALL ME AND THEN ARRANGE FOR A REPLACEMENT UNIT…I HAVE NOT GET IT YET…BUT IF IT’S ANYTHING LIKE THE LAST 5 REPLACEMENTS…IT WILL ENDED UP THE SAME WAY…AND I WILL ON MY LAST UNIT BECAUSE HP TOLD ME THAT I ONLY HAVE 23 DAYS LEFT OF MY WARRANTY.   DON’T BUY THIS CRAP!!! I REPEAT…DON’T BUY THIS CRAPPY HP PRINTER…IT WILL ENED UP THE SAME AS MINE

SHow the damn hookups for the ddamn fax!

Glynn Pettiford says:

I have one of these that I was using. I found that the problem with this printer is that you have to manage your password like a network administrator. If you input a character incorrectly on the input menu (flimsy), which is easy to do, you don’t/won’t know until you find out later that it wasn’t the password put into the printer menu. Horrible! It would be nice if it printed out the password and required a verification before it saved it. Otherwise, it would be NICE…not to have FLIMSY keys to input it in the first place!

Mark S. says:

This is a very good all in one printer for the price and ink use. No, it is not a “Photo” quality printer, but it is fast and easy to network to computers, tablets, and phones. It will print photos and they look good, but not perfect. I recommend this printer for everyday use.

Thanks

Excellent video. I’ve learned a few things about paper jams!

Gizmo87 says:

So does your printer still get 2200-2300 pages per XL ink cartridge? I had a printer that uses the 934XL ink cartridge and it didn’t even last for a single ream (500 pages). It ran out at less than 250 on my Officejet 6230. It was advertised printing as cheap as laser, yet if you have to spend $40 on ink that doesn’t even last for a ream, then it’s much more expensive.

Rejane R Belanger says:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT REVIEW!

I’ not sure if you are still answering this video… I am wondering, are you still using the 8610? … any issues encountered?

The price of ink cartridge replacement. If you buy the HP brand, it’s going to be very expensive. Find same but from a no-name supplier. Save much money. I’ve found sometimes the color is a little weaker, but if so, you can always make adjustments either with the printer or your software. It’s no big deal and the money you will save is, well, it’s a lot.

DJ GaFFLe says:

Buyer beware!  This printer is flawed and has been replaced by HP.  It’s a great printer EXCEPT the loading of photo papers from the default tray FAILS after several short months of use.  I’ve done the research online and others have the same issue.  Cleaning all the in-line pinch rollers does not help nor does using ‘official’ HP premium photo papers.  I’ve worked with HP support and they helped me to print photo papers  (after a lot of software tweaking) but it has now failed again.  Luckily, I purchased a two-year extended warranty but still had to settle for another HP (the OfficeJet 6930 Pro).  HP failed on their predecessor to this printer which I use to own, the HP8500 all-in-one.  It had a split-cogwheel hardware flawed that also caused the printer to think it was out of paper.  HP cannot not seem to get it right, at least in this model range.  I hope my new HP 6930Pro gives me no issues…

John Dee says:

This was an excellent presentation!

Thank You!

Thanks for this review, I have an Office jet 6600 and it’s nothing but an “INK HOG”, not to mention that the XL cartridges maybe ever so more yielding than the “regular”, I am able to get only less than 150-200 pages and when one ink is empty, it doesn’t let you print at all, even if you want “JUST” black so, you’re screwed!
I’ll opt for a laser jet with the possibility of “refiling” my own black for peanuts, compare to the inkjet.

Maria Kane says:

Thank you for taking the time to show us this printer. I am looking for a good printer that has ink cartridges that don’t cost as much as the printer each time I need to order cartridges
