Hey Dads,

My mom has had this Brother All-in-One Printer for about 2-3 years now, and we really like how easy it is to use. We used to have an Epson XP-400, and we really did not like that printer. It would use too much ink and the ink was expensive.

After the years of use that this printer has had, we can recommend this one to you for a printer for home use.

It is cheaper to buy a new printer then it is to replace the ink cartridges

Brother MFC 680. A little more compact than the 886 which is a good printer. i opted for this over the 885 because it;s smaller and you can buy generic ink for it on Amszon. 10 ink cartridges cost $19. The Epson 440 is around $60 which is good, but cartridges are expensive and they give you ones with the printer that only have a small amount of ink unlike the Brother that gives you full cartridges with a new printer. Its harder to get cartridges into the Epson also.

I love this printer but i cant seem to get the software installed on my laptop. Neither the CD or the file from the website would work. when i hit install nothing come up. I have windows 10. Wonder if that have something to do with it?
