As other reviewers have pointed out this thing is large – and it gets even larger when you’re using larger format paper. The paper trays need to be extended to accommodate paper larger than standard letter size. So prepare for its girth and check the dimensions to ensure it will fit in your home or office!
Print quality looks about the same as other printers at this price point. Text is super sharp even in normal mode and photos look decent when running in the slower “best” mode. I was impressed with how fast it prints and pleased with its 11×17 duplexing. It will also print borderless up to 16×19. But I found its output to be a bit washed out vs. the original photos and documents I had on my screen.
I liked its paper handling options – two 250 sheet trays plus a manual feeder. It’s possible to load the printer up with large format and letter sized paper and easily switch between both.
This is definitely not a photo printer so I would recommend it mostly for business documents, newsletters, etc. But all in it performs well and provides affordable access to large format prints.

Same quality for 10 years!
the only new is the size!
And the ink is still so expensive!
Will it print black and white documents when one of the color ink cartridges is empty? I get frustrated with my Canon printer because it won’t print black and white documents even though I have plenty of black ink.
Is this larger than A3?
Really bad experience with Epson Workforce Printer 2 years ago. Replaced with HP Pagewide – delightful !
I have the WF-7520 which is similar but has the copier option. I have had it for at least three years (not sure). In the time I have owned it it has performed well and without any problems. About a year ago I switched to non Epson inks to save money. The cheaper inks haven’t caused any problems, but print quality is lower then the Epson ink. Also the non Epson ink is not water proof. I would recommend this printer to anyone who needs a wide format printer.
those trays are so low quality, if you can leave them extended you will avoid lots of headaches, i don’t like those ink printers, too expensive and prints often look ugly, even with original ink
Excellent.
Man. That’s quite the Gutenberg Offset you’ve got hooked up to your home network Lon. You should hold a draw for that glossy of you and your daughter on the Merry-Go-Round. I think you would be surprised by the number of entries you get.
That’s is one big printer
I subbed
i don’t know why….. But i love the Printer Videos!!!!!!!!!
I have small Epson printer. It has a black ink and separate inks for each color. Yesterday I was trying to print a document in black and white but I couldn’t. The blue color is empty and because of that, you can’t print in black and white. I will never buy Epson again.
