Monoprice MP Mini Delta Review – BEST INEXPENSIVE 3D PRINTER?

After testing it for over 3 months, I review the Monoprice MP Mini Delta 3D Printer. Good choice for a first 3D Printer, or cheap crowdfunded publicity stunt that barely prints? Watch my review and find out what I think of it.

Remember! This is a prototype, and the production machine will certainly be slightly different. This review is my own opinion, based on my experience as a volunteer Beta Tester, and I was not compensated in any way for this review.

CJ Carter says:

Is the build volume a 120mm cylinder or does the radius start shrinking at the higher levels (not at all uncommon with deltas)?

Nic P says:

Just got mine today, already have one delta but you cant beat this for the price and portability. I didn’t get a manual with mine, maybe it will come digitally though. Good video, glad you like it so far!

CHEP 3D Printing & Electronics says:

Nice summary. Looks like decent prints for such a low cost machine.

Seth Leblanc says:

when will it be available?

Rob Ludlow says:

Wow, that was one of the most well-done videos on 3D printers that I’ve seen! I’ve had my MP Select Mini for 4 days and I’m hooked…. now I’m wondering if this should be my next purchase!

dot_bob says:

Since this is a beta unit how does this compare to the production units that are shipping?

utetrahemicon says:

Thanks, you make a very good, clear & comprehensive video.
I just took delivery on a Flsun Kossell Mini Delta kit,
and now I wish I had known about this one.
Might have to start saving again.

Jeffrey Seymore says:

Two quick questions for you 🙂
1: what replacement nozzles work for these? I would like to have a .3 and .2 ready to go when mine arrives next month!!!
2: Do you know voltage leads I have available to pull power from for led strips? Is it 12v, or 24v?

Noah Langseth says:

I love the review, but the music in the background of the first five minutes was driving me crazy.

Darryl Nousome says:

This looks awesome! Almost pulled the trigger on the select mini v2 but am tempted to wait to get to order this. Any comparisons you might know? And when do you think those who didn’t preorder might be able to buy?

KS Todd says:

Is the auto bed leveling done via the menu system, through gcode settings added in the slicer, or is it run before every print without user prompting?
