You were too kind to this thing… It looks just plain awful!

Dagoma answered an Amazon question about using USB to connect to the NEVA. “NEVA has an USB plug to update firmware in its motherboard. However, using it to 3D print will void the warranty.” BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No heated bed. No Octoprint. Pass…

Neva gonna get it?

I missed something major, so let me over explain it: http://joes3dworkbench.blogspot.com/2018/03/neva-review-video-aka-why-heated-build.html

Great vid, and your children are cool 🙂
Buy the printer nope. Is it great for the kids totally :), this for me is learn from me printer.
Magnetic arms good
Linear rails on a delta can be good
Pressure sensitive bed very good idea
Imaging a pizeo mount so sensitive and pressure measurement throughout the print you could do loads with that.

So overall not bad, I need a interface and controller, I need metal parts and I need slicer unlocked so not for me but they do have good ideas.

Zé Tuga says:

Nope, I don’t understand why they keep trying to reinvent the wheel..

3DPP I am trying to revive an older RepRap design, and let me tell ya, trying to hit all those ‘right notes’ is a hard, hard thing to do. While technically I have the design up to 2018, it can still fail in ways that, well, takes experience to fix. So you know, what niche does it fill? Hard to say, I think it fits the second printer field, not a total novice one. I never thought people would use their 3d printer in a hot, hot car, I would have to rethink the pla parts thing, and go abs. SmartRap Mini 2 on thingiverse.

Siana Gearz says:

I don’t think it will corrupt the SD-card when you pull it out, because they likely use it in read-only mode.
